A Pilgrimage in England

This is a smaller pilgrimage that the one from Paris to Chartres, but a pilgrimage nonetheless. I am curious, once again, at the enthusiasm for traditional catholicism from young Catholics.

There are so few pilgrimage sites in the U.S. We are a young country, and a big country with infrastructure designed almost exclusively for the automobile. In other words, we have very little Catholic historical heritage compared to Europe, and a society with substantial anti-human structures. Classic style pilgrimages just won’t happen here much.
